| Prefers to be on Wiki and meatball - and that's a freedom we cannot and would never try to take away. Because then the terrorists would have already won.
From The Open Society And Its Enemies:
I find Why boring and poofy so I don't post or read here. That doesn't mean that Why isn't valuable to others. Just because I'm interested in wikis, doesn't mean I have to read and follow every single one. I'm not going to read Lighting Wiki, or NBTSC, or even Seattle Wireless because I just don't care. -- Sunir Shah
Coool! A posting from someone who doesn't post here. That's Spooky. Less spooky would be a posting from someone who doesn't read here, as that person would likely have missed the part of The Open Society And Its Enemies that says...
I'm sure that Sunir is easily able to confirm that one way or the other.
Entertainment rating: 9.5 "I loved it." -- Walden Mathews
You should have just asked me directly [about the validity of the quote by Sunir on The Open Society And Its Enemies originally posted on Shut Up About The Attacks]. I'm fully capable of sowing my own discontent, thank you. -- Sunir Shah
Thanks for the confirmation of authorship Sunir - I think that the style of the contribution here marks it as yours beyond reasonable doubt! (Hehe.. You should see what I say about adequacy.org or--heaven help them--plastic. But at least you have illustrious company in the pursuit of coffee klatsz. I on the other hand continue my heresy in peace. --ss) I had meant to email you a few weeks ago about this little issue, sorry I didn't get around to it. Thank you for your support on moving the WTC material. For avoidance of doubt, I offered Why as a possible place for it, but certainly didn't and don't feel it right to put any pressure on Ward or the rest of the community about it. It's still a sensitive time for those in the USA and elsewhere. But I did appreciate your words about it, then and now.
The focus of The Open Society And Its Enemies, in case you didn't pick it up on the first skim through, was to restore some of my own text about the ethics of refusing to use Real Names Please in order to maintain complete secrecy of identity on Wiki, text which was itself anonymously deleted from Wiki. You remain an excellent example of a well known, real person who takes responsibility for their edits on Wiki. I expect I'll post that same text on Wiki itself later today. I will, if I may, include your brief confirmation of authorship. -- Richard Drake'
Real names are good. I know the situation here, too, I just pretend to be ignorant of it. I'm happy to continue being ignorant of it if you're happy to not have me intervene. ;) Now, could you make my namepage go back to Meatball Wiki please? -- Sunir Shah
