House Gallery Team PRINT

Thanks to the House Gallery team for six years of exhibitions in Camberwell. The team no longer run the gallery, but we would like to thank:

Julia Alvarez
Exhibitions Coordinator
Julia was the face of the gallery: meeting artists, invigilating and coordinating the exhibitions program. She not only managed the House Gallery but also runs the BEARSPACE gallery and Cafe in Deptford. You can find her there: www.thebear.tv/bearspace

Sarah McIntyre
Gallery Team coordinator
Sarah works as a children's book illustrator and is currently studying on an MA course at Camberwell. She helped found the gallery with Eddie Smith, Jem Mackay, Anne Mackay, Phil Stokes and Astrid Pederson.

Edward Smith
Gallery Maintenance and Upkeep
Eddie graduated from The Royal College of Art from his Sculpture MA in 2000 and currently works on large sculptural commissions.

Jonathan Kearney
Gallery Oracle
Jonathan is a wise man. Graduating from Camberwell MA in 2004, he moved his whole family out to China to pursue a Ph D, and find out a little bit about the incredible contemporary art scene in China. He has shown at the House Gallery and is an Associate Lecturer at Camberwell College of Art.

Gillian Arnold
Private View Assistant
Gillian is currently working with young people in different schools on arts projects. She led several projects with young artists at the gallery.

Jennie Holmqvist
Private View Assistant
Jenny is a Swedish lady who is currently studying on an arts management course. She has been a welcome and enthusiastic member of the team.

Stuart Pyle
Accountant
Since the first days of the gallery's opening, Stuart helped out with general maintenance and bartending, but during our last two years, worked as gallery accountant.

Phil Stokes
Pastor
Phil is our link with the Well Community Church, which has encouraged the gallery team to use its space and has been a great support to the team. http://www.thewellcc.org.uk Phil continues to have a vision for the space as a forum for the arts in Camberwell and will be responsible for jump-starting the next phase of the project.

Watch this space for details about the next team.
