| | | Dave Astels is a founding Partner and Master Software Craftsman at Adaption Software Inc. (www.adaptionsoft.com), the company Dave started in early 2000 (previously named Saorsa Development Inc.). Adaption specializes in Smalltalk and Java development, eXtreme Programming, Test-driven Development, and other agile processes, practices, things-that-you-do-while-developing-software.
Dave's coauthored "A Practical Guide to XP" and his second book (and first solo effort) "Test-Driven Development: A Practical Guide" is now in production and Will hit the shelves in July 2003.
Dave is currently (2003) consulting at Fannie Mae in the D.C. area, helping them with various things, including agile modeling, programmer testing, and various other "best practices".
