| Well if you must know, I dwell outside Toronto with my wife, would rather be sailing and/or reading, and work in accounting/finance. I also enjoy applying logic wherever I can since there seems to be so little of it (or too much in the way of unstated/unquestioned premises) going around. Mathematics and business education culminating in a Certified Management Accountant designation (sort of a CPA for industry, for you US folks).
Since most of my occupational intellectual stimulation comes from the IT side of my duties, I try to keep current in that area by reading a number of magazines, newsletters etc. That's how I heard about Wiki (article on Extreme Programming) and thence Why.
Influences would be Cs Lewis, Ayn Rand (both were big on logic), Jrr Tolkien and Johann Sebastian Bach to start with.
